Nora is from Richmond, North Yorkshire.  Her work is mainly paintings in watercolour and egg tempera  and is inspired by the outdoors.   With her love of nature and heritage Nora tries to capture the colours,  light, atmosphere  and magic of the landscape .     She doesn't work from photographs preferring to go outdoors for inspiration for her landscape painting and using her sketchbooks for reference.

 

Nora also runs workshops in her studio and outdoors,  and has taught art in schools and colleges for the past 30 years. She can often be seen delivering a demonstration of her skills for  societies, clubs and groups.
