‘Helen Hardy is a textile artist living in Eaglescliffe, Durham, with her husband and two boys.    Helen creates unique original wall art of wildlife, animals and nature from her sewing room at home. Her passion for freemotion embroidery (which she best describes as drawing with a sewing machine), runs throughout her work giving way to textured, detailed and vibrant pieces. Additional texture and interest is created through the use of natural wool, wetfelting, fabrics and her signature style; of cutting parts of her fabric work so it stands off the piece and over the mount - must be seen to be appreciated!
